Dude Ranch—the Haberman employer-sponsored garden—is many things all at once. It’s the source of great tasting, fresh organic produce all summer long. It’s a hands-on learning lab for understanding how much effort goes into growing nutritious food. And as the Star Tribune noted in an article that appeared Sunday, October 27, 2019, it’s also one way coworkers can connect and develop even stronger team skills.
As Fred Haberman described the garden in 2015, “We wanted to be pioneers ourselves and try new things and see if we could advocate for new ways of doing things.” Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2019, the garden has been an outlet for discovery for the Haberman tribe and an important resource for cultivating new ideas and strong bonds.
